Altieri’s Trio of Geishas

Last year we had the pleasure of meeting Roger Pitti GM of Altieri Specialty Coffee during his visit to Hong Kong. Altieri, a family-run estate founded by Eugene Altieri 20 years ago, has achieved remarkable success in recent competitions, including a 3rd Place for Geisha Natural at the 2024 Best of Panama, and multiple top rankings in 2022-2023 competitions.

The family Estate is comprised of two farms growing coffee between 1,350 and 2,200 m.a.s.l. Their two farms, Pipim Estates in Alto Lino and Mima Estates in Alto Quiel, Boquete are strategically sectioned by elevation and microclimate into eleven plots named after each of his grandchildren.

Eugene Altieri immigrated to Panama from New York in 1973
Altieri Geisha Satori DFC Mima Estate won 3rd place in the Geisha Natural category at the Best of Panama competition in 2024
