This batch was harvested on the waxing moon in Leo (20 March 2024). Fermented with beer yeasts in an anaerobic system for 24 hours. After the fermentation time it entered a dark drying room for 15 days. It was then sealed, stored in bags, and left to rest for three months.

Black Moon Farm is located in Alto Quiel, Boquete, Chiriquí at an elevation of 1,700 to 1,780 m.a.s.l. The farm used to be a vegetable farm with degraded and eroded soil. Owner and Q-Grader, Hunter Tedman, aims to restore soil fertility and microbial life through regenerative agriculture.

Black Moon Farm won 1st place in the category of Varietals at the 2024 Best of Panama competition.
